Another weekend, another stellar performance from Team Monolith.

Team Monolith’s golden boy, Matthew Swaney, took down The Eldritch Bastion, finishing 1st out of 88 players and proving that the latest Marvel Superheroes upgrades have taken his Sisay, Weatherlight Captain deck to another level.

But Swaney wasn’t the only Monolith player making headlines. Teammates Jeremiah Wood and Corwin Caster both fought their way into the semifinals, finishing 15th and 11th, respectively, to cap off another dominant showing for the team.

Swaney also wasn’t the only Monolith player to bring home a trophy this weekend. Team Captain Jordan Drake conquered Shuffle N Roll’s cEDH Dual Land Tournament, going undefeated from start to finish!

Meanwhile, Erik Carbonell—best known for his mastery of turbo strategies—proved his versatility by piloting Rograkh/Thrasios to a 3rd-place finish at The Family Jewlz: Foil Intuition – In It To Win It cEDH Tournament.

Rounding out the weekend, Vice Captain Tim Sank piloted his new Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. five-color “slop” list to a semifinal appearance at cEDH Shuffle #2: The Reshuffle, adding yet another deep tournament run to Monolith’s impressive résumé.

All told, it was another outstanding weekend for Team Monolith, highlighted by multiple tournament victories and a collection of top-cut finishes across the country. Yet the biggest story may not be the trophies themselves. Behind the results are the new innovations and refined decklists the team continues to develop, pushing the boundaries of the format and setting the pace for the rest of the competitive cEDH scene.
